Little Bit o' Zion, Like a Lion

We left Elsie at my mom's house for about seven hours, and took the older kids for a trip to Zion National Park in Jonah's Jeep Commando. It was SO amazing! I've ben to Zion dozens of times, but this was the best way to see it! We'll take any of yous if you are up to it. Its only about 50 minutes from our house.
The kids have ridden in Jonah's car enough to know how to dress, even when its as warm as its been.
I've contemplated starting a blog dedicated to "Strange things to do with a mini-van" (see Tennessee trip pictures).

We went on a little one mile hike that starts right past the tunnel, and it was a beauty! Neither of us had ever been on it. The view at the end is killer. Literally. I had four heart attacks from the drop off. The cliff is shear all the way to the canyon floor. This little piece of fence covers about 5% of the cliff top. The children (and the Europeans taking pictures) were wondering why I kept screaming for them to get way from the edge!!! I even cougar-lunged after Camden when he started to walk away from me. I can't talk about it any more...my heart is palpitating.

I'm with you on the screaming over heights. My heart is palpitating just thinking about it. Gorgeous scenery. Glad everyone is still alive! Do the goggles come with the ride?

Aja, St. George is so neat because there are such fun places really close. Do you guys think you will stay there forever? I love the story about the cliff. I feel the same way now that I am a mom. Matt doesn't seem to be as psyco about the kids falling down a mountain, but I am!! Beautiful pictures!!
